How we choose products

We start from the product types, sizes and price ranges people actually shop for, then compare the available models on the specifications that matter for each use: performance, features, build, compatibility, size and price. A product is recommended because of what it offers, never because of the commission it may earn.

Our sources

We use manufacturer specifications and documentation and product data from Amazon. Unless a guide states otherwise, we have not tested the products hands-on, and we never invent test results. We do not copy or quote Amazon customer reviews, and star ratings, when shown, come directly from Amazon's product data.

Writing and review

Drafts may be prepared with the help of software tools, including AI. Every guide is checked against the product data before publication, and claims about a product must be supported by its specifications. We explain trade-offs and say who a product is not for.

Prices and updates

Prices and availability come from Amazon and are shown with the date and time they were last checked. Products that are no longer available are removed or replaced, and guides are reviewed when new models arrive or specifications change.
